Pomona College seeks a strategic and technical advancement leader to serve as its next Director of Complex Assets, Legacy Giving.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Complex, Legacy, and Principal Gifts, the Director will lead the strategic growth of Pomona's legacy giving program while serving as the College's foremost advisor on complex and deferred gift vehicles.

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in planned or complex gift fundraising, estate or financial planning expertise, and a collaborative leadership style grounded in relationship building and strategic thinking.
In this role, you will:

• Lead the strategic growth of Pomona College's legacy giving and complex assets fundraising program.
• Manage and cultivate a portfolio of high-level donors and prospects focused on blended and deferred gifts.
• Serve as the College's subject matter expert on planned giving vehicles, including trusts, estates, securities, and real estate.
• Partner with frontline fundraisers and external advisors to develop sophisticated donor-centered gift strategies.
• Design and implement marketing, stewardship, and pipeline strategies that strengthen long-term philanthropic engagement.

The salary range for this position is $175,000–$195,000.
